What did you have to do for the Storyteller's testimony? Is it because the explanations for everything were so bad?

Sorry to get off-topic but why is my ten-year-old sister so much better at drawing than me?



She free-handed it and when she compared it to the original it was nearly pixel-perfect. XD

I mean, that could depend on a bunch of stuff. It could be her drawing style, amount of experience, natural drawing talent... And of it was based off of another picture of that guy, she might have lots of skill in either copying things via freehanding them or drawing from memory.

Then again, that's the first drawing of hers that I've ever seen, so I wouldn't be able to tell. I'm... also not a professional, but I mean I've been drawing for quite some time, so I think that counts..?

She regularly draws that well, and that includes not using any references. She spends pretty much every hour of the day drawing and she's just good. On a prodigious level. Anyway, I'm not actually insecure or anything about my own abilities, I'm just super proud to have a baby sister who can draw so well. XD

It sounds like the biggest thing would be how much she draws, then. Doing a ton of stuff in a short period of time definitely helps upgrade any skill. Then again, natural talent may have a part in that as well.

My little sister has just started drawing, and she's improving pretty well. She mainly tries to draw AA characters, but I think she drew Link and Zelda at some point.

I was going to finally start working on finishing the last case of AAI that I'm halfway through with, or make a neat parallel post about Apollo and Rayfa but I just found this massive AA ripoff game Beauty Lawyer Victoria on iOS so I'll just be doing parallels between that game and 1-1 and 1-2 for the lulz.

BLV is actually really good and amazing and way better than case 3-5, totally. It's also better than 2-4, probably maybe and should be nominated for every game award ever.

I'm actually creating my own ripoff ace attorney game right now, it's for class and it's approximately... 50% to completion? It should be done by next week, so If I can produce a demo, I will be sure to let everyone play it if they're interested!

Oh Holy Mother, I remember seeing that while looking up the AA IOS Trilogy... I never actually looked into it though, because I was doing more important things (such as doing my first ever playthrough of the actual not-ripoff Ace Attorney), so I'll just watch some of that video there...


I'm 1 min 46 sec in and I'm already done with all of this because
-Abysmal music
-Abysmal sprite work (espec. the title screen)
-Abysmally obvious ripping off of the first AA game

but I'm going to keep going because I like making myself suffer

-The terribly translated dialogue is abysmal, as well as Larry *ahem* I mean Dennis the menace's character development. All of the names are quite generic as well, though not as much as Gene Eric... heheh...
-The hotel had a blackout... That's original...
-The "long, black rope" that is clearly a very brown belt
-The way the game handles collecting evidence is extremely confusing and doesn't make any sense. As the person in the video says, it's completely based on your luck of picking the right evidence to put in your 5-space inventory.
-The Judge is ugly
-Prosecutor has Edgeworth bangs

There is always so much wrong with BLV. You actually get penalized for going through the entire testimony without pointing out the contradiction, and I don't think you can go back to a previous statement. I would be far too frustrated to even get past the first cross-examination. …Given that I picked up the correct pieces of evidence.

I ended up not watching the rest of the BLV playthrough, because ugh that music is so repetitive.

Oh, and today's the 4-year anniversary of Neil Marshall's murder! Poor guy...

Ah, Rise from the Ashes is getting closer and closer to happening! Phoenix has been in a funk and not been taking any cases since the end of last year. Sheesh, Phoenix. Are we sure that Adrian Andrews has co-dependency issues and not Phoenix?
