Warriors- Firestar's Death?

why would they make the main character die *-* *huggles firestar plushie* he cannot die! D:

In all reality, Firestar dropped to the "Other Important Characters" list in The New Prophecy...so he's no longer the main character...an important character, yes, but no longer main.

To me, Firestar's getting a little annoying. Sure, he was awesome through the first and second series, but he started getting a little old in the third, and now in the fourth I look upon him as another one of the four leaders of the Clans. Nothing too special about him anymore. Sure, he had an entire prophecy, but that's so old right now. At this point, he's a background character with some history. That's all.

At the same time, I would be disappointed if he didn't die in a dramatic scene. He had a large role in the first series, and without Firestar there would be no Warriors series in my opinion. Sure, he's dropped down to a background character, but if he doesn't go out strong, I'll be sad.

I agree. Plus, his personality has changed to much :S Now he's a little... grumpy >-> I don't keep up with Warriors anymore but after the second series, I got annoyed with the books themselves. Too many errors, not very interesting. Tried getting into the third series but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Come to think of it I don't think he even interacted much after the first series.

Haha, well, like it or not he's gonna have to die at some point. It just wouldn't be sensible if he didn't. Yes, it'll be sad, but I can rest assured his death is gonna be pretty damn fantastic knowing that one of her favorite things to write about is killing the cats off. Firestar is, the oldest cat, in all the clans, think of everything he's lived through in his life - he's more then ready to join Starclan. I have a feeling its likely Sandstorm might go with him too; given how intertwined the characters are but, hey, we'll find out in November. C:

I wanted Graystar before, but Graystripe is just as old as Firestar now, so I don't want that.

But Firestar needs to die. Like, now. He's a bad leader. Accepts kittypets, makes Brambleclaw deputy... What's next? LOOKING for rogues to join the Clan? And he even had Purdy in there! Really? And I don't like the names he gives now. He's way too old.

I mean, honestly, when he was just joining the clan, I was all for him
But then... he became a leader! And became a boring old cat. TC needs a new leader. Someone very fun and positive. Like Brightheart! <3 I think she'd be great.
