Currently I'm looking for anyone interesting in coding, help drawing pets, or just anyone interesting in setting it up aesthetically.
Please either msg me on discord (ghostiiyu#3065) or comment.
As I've seen many posts like this before I must advise you that starting up a website such as chickensmoothie is very time consuming and hard, and requires a lot of effort.
One thing you will need to consider is payment, as typically artists and coders, serious ones at that, will not be wanting to work hours upon hours for nothing, or for in game currency. So firstly, you'd want to know how much you wish to pay them, and how you are going to acquire said money. Especially for coders, you will most likely not find them on this site, so you'd most likely have to outsource them, and pay them by their rates, which may be expensive. And then either you'd need a specialist on hand in case the site breaks down, or you'd have to be able to know coding to an extent to fix it yourself, as your coder may not always be awake or on call. Along with knowing what form of code you wish to code the site in.
Another thing including money is domain, how are you going to get your website, are you going to rent a domain name and etc. or are you going to use a website creator like wordpress or another pet site starter which is generally free to an extent, depending on what you want to do with the site.
And then planning, many people think that it's easy, but firstly you've gotta figure out what you wish to achieve. Do you have a name? A list of species? An online currency? Are there going to be mini games? or is there going to be a story line? There are many things you have to plan before even thinking of hiring people.
I hope this brief overview helps! If you have questions, feel free to pm me. I'm a small html and php coder atm, if you have any questions about coding as well!
