Take a look at this thread! Some of the sites on there no longer work, but I've used MyVirtualPetSite a bit and it's alright, though there are some paid-only features.

There are many free website builders available on the web. Personally, I recommend you to consider Wix, Weebly or SquareSpace. But if you are taking your future website seriously, be sure to check out the resource here . Good luck with your website!
