Trick or Treater:

Story:
>>> Weeks upon weeks had gone into putting together his costume. Countless trips to the craft store, countless google searches, and seemingly endless amounts of sewing; and in the end, Renny still found himself self-conscious with the results. Even underneath the regal armor, he was still fearful. Fearful that what he had put together was wrong. Most of his classmates were going as zombies or ghosts or scary creatures of the night. But young Renny was scared of the night, and of the creatures that hid in the shadows. For all he knew, every turn of the corning could hold some creepy-crawly creature there to pounce, or a ghost just waiting to ambush! So, he had decided to go trick-or-treating as the one being he thought could fight of any scary creature of the night: a centurion. Stories of brave warriors in the coliseum fighting off lions and always inspired him; his favorite book about Rome worn and bent from the wear and tear of his childhood obsession. Tonight was the night he was supposed to find the courage of the warrior, and ready himself to face down any monster in his path! And yet, even under his polished armor and regal cape, he was still too nervous to set foot out the door. He didn't look like a warrior, but like a scared pup pretending to be something he wasn't; scared of everything outside the door. Instead of leaving, he laid on the floor of his bedroom, tears in his eyes. He was going to miss all the fun!
Something caught the corner of his eye. A sword he had made for a school art project. It hung off the back of the door by a strap, almost begging to be seen as it glinted in the light. Was that the piece he had been missing! Hurried and desperate, Renny strapped the sword around his shoulders, and looked into the mirror again. Suddenly, instead of seeing a scared child looking back at him; the form he saw in the mirror was brave and bold; the faced of a centurion. He looked like a warrior. And a warrior like him could fight off any creature hiding in the shadows!
Instilled with new bravery, Renny hurried out the door and down the street; a bright bag just waiting for candy pulled behind him; along with his trusty flashlight. Soon, he spotted a house with it's lights on- this was his chance! A hop in his step and an excited grin on his face, Renny ran up to the front door, already out of breath.
