His coat is in fact a gradient starting as a solid dark colour from the ruff/spine, and slowly petering out to a lighter hue. His eyes are a many layered dark blue and reflect gold when using magic.

Fur and build ref:

Quaint is a very large, broad, shaggy, maine coon resembling cat. His tail is long and has a feathery/bushy plum, he has feathering on his cheeks and the under side of his legs and paws, as well as long sweeping whiskers. He also has a slight ruff around his neck.

Pose wanted:
Generic pose of some variety. He's the smuggest beast you can get though, like narcissistic, vain, wise and down right cunningly smug, the type who makes you wait days for an answer because he's licking his damn paw. But he's fluffy and oh so lovable <3
I'd love two eye refs, one showing his normal eye colour, the other displaying his reflective gold when using magic. And 2- maybe three views if possible, one depicting each of his stages with labels. And of cause basic info up top, with points to his gradient fur and stuffs.

Background thing, maybe like old parchment or something dark and arcanic with his faerie symbols marking the four corners.

Yes he has a stud in his right ear, and his hair is just above shoulder length when worn down, its thick and slightly waved.

Personality: Somber, reclusive, cryptic, prefers his own company over others. He shows little emotion however when he does it's often genuine and very expressive. On the contrary he can be, inquisitive, engaging, talkative and hardly ever runs out of questions. Most of his reserved qualities come from trust issues.
He can be devious, wicked, tricky, and deceitful, this often shows through in his arsenal of grins, smirks and dark smiles. At heart he is a good person, sometimes too protective of his rare friends.

I love facial expressions! Gimme as many cartoony things as you want :3 Mainly bust-headshots, anything with his hood up is cool too along with having his hair down. Honestly you have free rein with him.
