Smile

There are 2 types of smile, they look pretty much the same. If you are ordering a Kitty, hamster, squirrel, bunny, or rat, and you ask for a smile, you will get one like this.



But, if you are ordering a Wolfeh, puppy, or bear, your smile will be slightly different. This is because these animals have notably longer muzzles than the others. If I used the first smile, your puppy would look a wee bit flat-faced.




Neutral
2 types of neutral too. For Kitty, hamster, squirrel, bunny, or rat, You get a mouth that looks similar to this one.


For bear, wolfeh, and puppy, you get:



No Mouth
What more can I say?


Wide Open Mouth Smile
Currently only available on rodents, but coming soon to others.


Frown
Just a simple matter of drawing some frowning lines. No one has ordered frown for dogs yet.



Quirky
A cute little side grin, currently looks best on rodents/cats.


Animation changes Only available in preferred package and up.

Peeved
Little frowny mouth, eyebrows can be added to any expression.


Coy
or half-eyes, this is a an edit where I use one of the animation frames, and delay the half blinking eyes, instead of all open.



Sadface
Add eyebrows + lids that animate.

Animation Speeds

For those curious about available speeds, my character Lumiere here has offered to show off his blinking skills.

Welcome, Lumiere, show us what ferffles can do.

"Sure, here's 'Normal' speed, the most popular choice. The open eye frame is set anywhere from 1500 to 1800 milliseconds."


Excellent, this is the most natural look, and I try to make the open eye time a little different for every single ferffle I do. What else can you do Lumiere?


"Let me go through what i currently know...

That was normal, and this one is called 'Often'...... It's just like normal, but the frame is set to around 500 ms.





When I blink 'Fast' (I think the light's too bright in here) the frame is set to a measly 200 ms.





*Sigh*, I don't even know why we have this one, but it's called 'Heart Attack'





And here's my favorite, we call this one 'Flutter', and it's a big hit with the ladies."

Yes, well, let's get back to all of you guys. These are just easily set choices, but I can mix and match it. Normal is the easiest for me, but I can mix and match all the others. For example, if you want your ferffle to blink often, and flutter 5 times, just let me know! You can also request it to blink not very often.

These are items that I have already drawn, so it's a simple matter of recoloring and copying them over to your new ferffle.

These items are available with the preferred package and up.

Some editing of simple items is allowed, your neckerchief can have checkers, your scarf stripes, etc.

The necklaces are changeable, you can add different pendants. Simple custom pendants are available in all the above packages.

Available Line Edits
These are fairly Simple edits, where take an element from one species and use it on a different ferffle. For example, I can use the cat tail on the wolfeh lines, and then you can have a long-tailed wolf! If I use the bear tail, you can have a bobtail on your puppy or wolfeh. You can mix and match any two linearts for this kind of thing.

I usually choose what would fit best based on your reference pics.

New Species
I can Customize the ferffle base by adding new tail and ears. These can get pretty expensive, but their package comes with items and hair, if applicable.


To order a new species, you will need to provide details, pictures, species name, etc. If ordering an invented species, please provide more info, such as a link to the species official page.


This is for applying for me to make a new species, remember to be as detailed as possible.

Weasel (This specimen is of the 3 tailed variety)

Moving face markings.

I have a quick question: What's a moving face marking?

Good question. A moving face marking is one that gets squished and stretched as the character blinks. This is because of the actual physical logic of eyelids. Instead of the eyes shriveling up and disappearing (yuck), I Remember that the eyelids come down over the eyes. If the forehead/eyelid area has markings on it, they must move so that the animation looks natural. Here are examples:


See how the markings squish inward toward the eyes when it blinks? It can get really difficult if the face markings are super complex like these:








And this one has a solid-colored head, so no need to animate any markings.




This one has face markings, but they do not need to be animated as they are far enough away from the eyelid area.



Having markings on the eyelid area that don't move doesn't look very good, but it still works out.

Special Options
Here I shall display the special options available. Here you can see the different sizes, eye options, directions, and such, that are not normally offered in the form. If you want one of these special options, you must let me know before I start work on the ferffle. Put any special options you want in the "other" section of the form.

Ok? Let's get started!



Multiple Animations One ferffle does different things. Not available if you want a "medium" version. (Only available in premium package and up)





Medium. Don't like either of the normal sizes? Want something that fits your needs? I can shrink it down, this size look good?





Reverse. Great if you are ordering two ferffles, you can have them facing each other as a matched set!




Eye direction Only available in premium and above. You may specify eye direction.


Colored outlines Makes you ferffle look soft and light



Glowing. When I change the file type to GIF, the colors become simplified, and the transparency is lost. So a character with glowing markings will glow, but only if I save as a non-animated file type. If I save as GIF, it will lose its glow. Here are some examples of how I managed to make the glow happen.

Look at these two: With the first, you can clearly see how the green bleeds out in a transparent glow around the edges, however, it cannot move. If you are fine with it not moving, then this work out great!
The second one does move, but has no glow.


And then there's another thing I can do, which is add a dark background to your ferffle, so the glow doesn't get cancelled by the
GIF color limit.


And sometimes, it doesn't need to go off the edge of the ferffle in order to glow, and it turns out alright without any special stuff.



Glowing Eyes. Perfectly fine, I don't have to worry about color limiting when I'm just making the eyes glow.
