Trade Rant Thread [NEW RULE]

There's been a bunch of talk about people not locking their groups...

Figured I'd join the rants...


So, I'm looking for people to trade with. I come across this person's rules.

'1. If you offer on my NFT's, NEEFT's, or NEEEEEEEFT'S, I'll foe you.
2. *Puts image here* This is my guard cat. If you offer on my NFT's, she'll attack you...by the way. She isn't for trade.
3. I don't accept trades from COPPA's. Stop sending them

She had like a billion more....but back to my point..

If you read rule number 1 and 2....All. her. groups. were. not. for. trade. WAIT!! No, except one. It was 'For my sister'. It had one '11 Halloween pet....I'll give some examples of her names.

"NFT!! DON'T TOUCH!
ROYALS!! NEFT. DON"T TOUCH
MY BABIES!! NEFT!!!!!!

*grumbles*

I think I can sum up what her rules are saying: Don't trade with me. Ktnxbai.

I myself get confused when people don't lock their groups or label them..
How was I supposed to know that I could offer on a spare dog from an unlocked group?

That's mean that they're discriminating against COPPA'd peeps.

If it's a NEFT or NFT group, I can sometimes understand. Most of the time, no. But like me, some people have hoards that they want people to see so that they can offer a pet that they're actually looking for that's not on their wishlist so that people can use a very common to get into a wishlist only group. But if it's just a NEFT group for fun, then I don't understand why they can't just lock it.

One thing I dislike more than most is when people put NEEEEFT or I'll attack you or something and then they put, but I might consider a really good offer. So, um, okay. Let's get this straight, you just said it wasn't for trade in no uncertain terms and you'd even have your virtual pet attack me if I offered, but then you turn right around and tell me I can offer? What the heck?

I constantly check my trade rules after trading with a bunch of people because some of their rules.... *headdesk* URG.

And CODEWORDS. AUGH. You know, if you're so utterly SET on making sure they follow each and every one of your rules, look at the trade. Does it follow your rules? If not- OH. Guess they didn't read your rules! AHAHAHA. >-> Ha. Gosh. You know how many people just look for the code word anyway? Sheesh.

Ok so today I went on an epic search to find my dreamie (which today someone so generously gave me for free even after I gave a fair trade for it, its the german sheppard from 2009 (uncommon)) so anyways after on my frantic search I found so many....

"TOUCH MEH AND DIEEEEHHHHH" groups

"MY GUARD (insert weird animal pic here)"

"Codeword is peaches
just kidding its really bananas"

(Random pets explaining for them )

And then the infamous that gives me braincrap

"NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFTEEE"

I don't understand the people that ask others to trade with them then have like 10 groups of pets saying "NFT Display Only" or whatever. Irritating >.>

And then in their rules it says, "You can ask for any pet in any group as long as you offer rares."

Can someone look at my rules and tell me what it is about them that makes them invisible to almost everyone who trades with me? Why is it they they cannot see the large, bolded, and sometimes capitalised words? I have removed rules from there that aren't that necessary to make it easier to read - so what.is.the.problem? Urgh >.<

I have a rule asking people NOT to ask me what I want for a certian pet. Again, this rule was ignored. T-T
In their defense, I don't know English is their first language considering the.... order of the words in their message but still.
