Trade Rant Thread [NEW RULE]

So, some time ago I found someone with an UR lion and PM'd them asking if there's anything they'd like for it.
They promised me they'd put it on hold for me (they said they'd prefer to wait until it's full grown & they know its rarity) and that they'll let me know before trading it to someone else. They even named it after my username so that they don't forget. </3 I was really grateful and extremely happy. And I waited.
Yesterday I saw someone (not the original owner) whose UR lion was named „Discord”. I thought this was just a strange coincidence.
Until I checked that person's (UR lion's first owner) trade history with me. I clicked on the lion I was trying to offer on.
It was no longer theirs. D':

I am not mad or anything - the person who has it now cherishes it more than I would - but a little heartbroken. They could have just not made any promises. T_T

Happened to me too... someone said they'd hold their toxic for me to see its outcome, but they didn't last three days. Then, they started sending majorly unfair trades to me asking for my BA. Continued sending about three trades a day until I foe'd them.

Me being harsh foeing them, or them giving away their toxic to someone who already has about a dozen?

I had to foe them, because their messages were getting kind of... irritating. Kind of suggesting I was being mean by cancelling, when these trades were Halloween rares and missed outcomes. Didn't want to see what the messages would develop into >_>

Sorry you didn't get your UR lion D: I was really looking forward to getting my tox too, and really irritated when the person who got this particular one posted on the 18/24th discussion thread:

I usually tell people to edit my trades if they don't like them.
THEY IGNORE MY REQUEST.
Gosh, I am so fed up with people canceling without taking a look at my pets, I sent a test trade to someone, with a their 2011 rare for a bunch of my uncommons. I didn't add their dreamie, but it was in my 'pets without a group'. I told them to edit if they didn't like it. They canceled with 'nope I don't leik the pets you offrd srry but its unfair cuz my pet is hallowen specil', so I know that no one even looks at my pets!
If you really want to cancel, tell me a real reason why. Not 'It was unfair', because you can edit to make it fair. Not 'I don't like the pets you offered', just edit them to different pets, not 'I heard this pet will go back to being _______ soon! UNFAIR!', because you can edit to make it so my pets match your pet's rarity.
You see, I just am broiling here, I hate it when people do this.

No, that is quite harsh of them to trade it away instantly. ._. You had every right to foe, I'd do that as well.

Yep, I was looking forward to it -- that'd give me a completely complete '11 collection. But oh well, at least someone else's happy & I know I'm not alone, that is always a relieving thought. D:

LOL, strange rare math that is, but I suppose it depends what they had on their wishlist. If it was just some missed outcomes... then that math really doesn't add up.

I'm not sure what they had on their wishlist I only had one of their wishlist pets and it was one of my Malk wolves. Not only that but in their rules they had "don't ask for pets in in a group marked NFT" and all of their rares were in that group.

i hate it when people give trades based on how the pets look. >_> they say their pet, which is a '11 common, is apparently worth my rare from two years back because they look the same.
