I would like to write about CS, and of all the wonderful people here.
First of all,
How I found CS:
I was playing on Howrse, when another horse site ad caught my eye. I was extremely bored, so I clicked it. I tend to often look at people's profiles, and when I was looking at someone's page (I'm such a stalker
), I saw they had a butterfly wolf and a cat in their signature. Intrigued by the wings on the wolf, I obviously clicked, and it brought me to CS. At that time, CS had an older layout/skin, and it didn't have oekaki or a store.
XD
My first 'steps' on CS:
This part is just a vague memory. I remember going straight to the RPs, but at that time, I posted just a little, sticking mostly to the Wolf and the Fantasy Roleplays. Now, quite ironically, I can only be found most of the time in, when roleplaying, in the Warrior Cat RPs. I remember the maker of one Human Roleplay, but I don't recall whether or not they still play on CS. All I remember is that they played a boy named "Tyler", and that their most beloved pet was the September orange leopard dog. Another person who used to play there was Clairekit/Cosmo (I think, I can't remember. XD) I would like to thank her, and thank everyone else who helped me while I was new. I also remember Ricorn and her/his artshop, who at that time was still a member. (I think)
The mods and admins:
Even though I don't know the mods very well, they have been friendly and helpful, whereas on other sites mods are scolding and sarcastic. I've always been scared of the mods, in fear that I"ll get banned for making a mistake. (
'Cause once on Clubpenguin I got banned for nothing) On all those other sites I used to play, the mods only talked to other mods, and treated normal members or younger members like they were nothing. I thank the mods too, for without them CS would not be like it is today. They are the ones who come up with the wonderful ideas for adoptables, who keep CS clean and organized, or who make sure that no one is ranting to harshly or flaming.
The CS members:
These are the CS members that I recognize and thank. These are the members who hand out free pets to newbies, or who welcome new members, or who help out others, or who try to make CS a better place, or who try to 'Spread the Love'. XD
I have a list of great friends:
xXFlamestormXx
Ilovewarriors123
Ans5599
Lunarflower
Mango-Burst (Originally Sundapple)
Tinkpetz
HunterandJack
Klemi900
Alvina(There are numbers here)
Lunasong
Peaceful Chaos
Correre Con Lupi
etc.
There are too many to recognize, but these are some of my good friends.
I've had some excellent friends who've explained things that I didn't understand to me, or who gave me my wishlist pets. (*winks* XD)
CS to me today:
Today, going on CS is an event of everyday life for me. Every day, I can be found on CS. My friends seem like people I meet in real life, and my actions are almost always the same. I check my pets, my RPs, the pound, the CS adoption threads, art shops, etc.
Rant on Rants:
To all of those people who bash CS, who talk about how horrible this design or item was, and how a newbie was so stupid to ask for a very rare while offering a common, then go ahead. But all of those who do that are not helping anyone else. Before blaming or ranting about how a 'n00b' sent you a stupid trade, you should know that a lot of people who just joined don't have a very large sense of rarity. It took me time to learn too (And I will admit I traded away a rare bunny for a common horse XD), and maybe even you had a couple of accidentally unfair trades. Nowadays, I just laugh about it, but what if the so called 'n00b' who had sent you the totally unfair trade had been you? Wouldn't you have felt hurt or insulted if the canceler/receiver canceled, posting back in all caps calling you a stupid n00b? I know I would have felt like someone had just slapped me in the face.

To all of you who complain about CS designs and pets, let me tell you one thing. The mods and admin probably work hard, and it must be quite difficult to find new ideas for each month. Complaining about the pets is like complaining about the artist. So just don't do it.
I hope that many of you will agree that CS is a wonderful place, and that my post has touched you. XD
(I had something else to say, but I forgot. *sniffs* XD)
Hehe... I remember.
Well... unlike a lot of other sites, Chickensmoothie is a site I still play. A lot of others have just faded away (sorta), like Clubpenguin, Webkinz, Neopets, Moshimonsters, and those 14 (or more) other adoptable sites that I joined and never actually played on.
