When you check your trading history, it should show the exact pet you "gave" to them. Click on that pet; is it the same one or have they traded it away? (as in, does it have a different owner name?)

Woah, this person is seriously sly. My friend got a White July pup, and someone sent him a trade for it (a common dragon and a light dog). He didn't know the value of it, and accepted. I eventually had to go on his account and retrade it. Now I have the little pup, so he won't be scammed. I feel so sorry for you!
