I'm quite simply fond of everything. xD It makes me happy to have a full set. If they were actually UGLY- not saying anything on Chicken Smoothie is ugly, because nothing on such a website is like that- with, like, just random splotches all over the place and really badly matched colors and such, then of course I wouldn't want such a thing showing up on my pets, but that's a pretty big if. I doubt it's even possible for Tess to make something ugly without meaning to. But I do trade off my duplicates most of the time; the one exception is my green 2nd-gen trio.

I agree with you there are no ugly adoptables on this site :D. There are some that just don't appeal to me for one reason or another. Like the pink dogs I'm just really not that fond of the color pink. After reading what people have had to say here I am still seriously considering putting dogs up for trade or adoption at a later point because I don't have full sets of some older ones and only keeping the ones that appeal to me. Maybe in the new year I'll just start fresh and try to get full sets of the dogs for 2009 :). Granted I would love to have full sets of the older dogs but since I doubt that will ever be possible I would rather set my sights on something I can achieve.

It's worked so far for me to focus instead on my favorite dogs, although it's a very slow and tedious task. It was horribly useful though during this time of the advent calendar, I've just today completed my advent calendar pets >w<

My suggestion is keep the unique-looking and rare pets to yourself - and try to get duplicates of them if possible - you never know if in the future someone will be trading older pets for what you have now, and it will be handy to have something to trade in the future :3

SolMiMi... just how old is this thread!?

Woah this is an old thread lol. I have an ornament PPS and I have no idea wether to keep it or not as I got it for free

Note for trades and PM's, I leave my CS tab open almost all the time for easy access. I am online but I'm not actively looking at the tab all day <3
Please don't message me asking if I'm selling or trading Closed species characters. If I haven't said otherwise? The answer is no.

Originally I focused on getting each and every pet, and as a beginner I found that to be very frusturating lol So I switched my focus to my wishlist, and once I complete it I'll finish the rest of my collection since my wishlist contains most of CS' hardest to get pets. The few non-wishlist pets that I saved are ones that I'm attached too, but just about everything else got poured into my Trades, and hence into my Favorite group. I'd much rather have a full Tribal or Toxic set or something than a full monthly set. Get the hard to get ones first, and abandon anything you aren't attached to (or hoarding, but 99% of my hoards are open to trading anyway so those get traded away too lol) - that's the method I'm going for  Mostly thanks to LegionWolf, the method's working pretty well for me so far too lol

EDIT: Actually...I never really considered it before, but I think I have a full August 08 set, both dogs and rats o.O I just need a few pets to finish my July 08 collection too. Buuuuuttt I'm missing like at least 85% of the rest of CS' pets, so I still have a bit or work cut out for me (*glares at impossible to find Nick Uni*)

PS Whoa, return of the zombie post o.O The living dead! *runs away screaming*
From Chianya to mods: I am transferring my pets to AiraSkylar (http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=6259) since the pets will really help Aira (formerly Jhey) to create a CS helper organization. If you want to double check this with me, find me on Aywas at Chianya (#12264). As of March 21st, 2012, this account is permanently inactive - I just do not know how to delete it.

Thanks to the new wish list feature I think I have all of the '09 pets now except maybe a couple. I gave up completely on the '08s a few months after I originally posted this.

And yes it does seem to be the attack of the zombie posts LMAO. Two of my ancient posts have popped up to haunt me recently.

I only ever trade a pet if I have a duplicate. Otherwise, no matter how good the offer is, I won't trade.
