I sent this trade, and told them this:

Before you freak out, no, I'm not asking for all of those pets. Just the way I trade is that I add everything that interests me and then my trading partner can pick what they're willing to offer. I hope that's alright with you!

So; please edit off what you're not willing to trade. If at all possible I'd really like to keep the Joker in there; but I'd understand if you don't want to trade him.

I'd love a moonswirl but I'd rather ninja to get one during advent then trade for one. It would set me back in my complete collection.

....That cancel message just made me soooo pissed off it's not funny.
Why? Because my first Christmas here I was scammed out of a Sunback; my little brother was scammed out of a UR BW; and my second Christmas here I was scammed out of a Joker dog just because people wanted a complete collection.

... I hate ninja traders. ;-;

I know how you feel.*pats back.*somebody tried to ninja all of my fave pets because i was under the three month radar.

What do people mean when the would rather 'ninja-trade'?

Ninjas are scammers who try to take your pets since your a "newbie"Ninja trades are the type of trades they send.

It is something pretty popular to do, especially during 18th when there's many newbies stuck with Julies or URs and they don't even know it. Ninja traders pay nothing near to the real value of the pet, taking advantage of the newbie's lack of experience. Most of the time they only pay common, uncommons or common rares.

you know. i decided to look and see when they joined, and i felt a little bad when i saw that it was august 11th. but then i looked in their collection..
they have a group of Rs and VRs, including one of my wishlist pets.

I received some good pets on December 18th, and I was a "newb" because I took a 1 year break, so I came back with zero knowledge. Next thing you know, everyone decides to ninja me out of all of them. ;_; I deleted those trades so I couldn't be reminded of them any longer.

I know how you feel, Kalika, and it sucks some people still do it, let alone admit to it. T_T

1) If you're putting that message then you KNOW it's a unfair trade
2) This message only made me wan to more.

I think Tess should send out a message to everyone under 3 months on that day, mostly for the newbies to tell them that they may receive a very very rare pet that day and to check the fair trade thread on any offer they get on it. Something like that so people know. I dunno..

Wouldn't that technically be giving the newer users an unfair advantage then?
I mean, none of us had it when we joined near Christmas.
Probably sounds mean but why should they have a warning about it if none of us who got scammed had a warning?

@Catfight--> Not terribly when you consider it; they at least offered rares list pets. But I got a Rose PPS and a NonBalloon for it... I remember thinking that they must have really wanted the dog if they'd pay two very rares for it...

The joker was my dreampet. I will never trade him, and even if I was, there is no way I'd trade my joker for store items and a Dragon that isn't on my WL! Dx
