When people have a pet not in a locked group that they will never trade. I can understand if you like a pet and so expect more for it in a trade.. but not at all? then why have it there to be traded with!

I have three pets I am not trading at all in an open group. For a reason that I said in my rules: Don't offer on them. In big big letters.
I can't imagine better codeword I canceled like more than 10 trades already, because people can't read or won't read. So I have a reason to cancel unfair trades(there was not a single one fair to me) with just "Read the rules". Nobody sent me a trade back xD They know, why it is canceled.
So I am not wasting my time with explanations, why I canceled and so on.

ya i would suggest locking the group so it doesn't get people confused even if they do read your rules there still on their wishlist i mean if its open i offer on it if not i understand you wanna keep the pets that sort of thing

It's not about bad intentions.. if I wanted to look at a pet I could go the archive or look through your pets, when you hit the trade with me button it's for one thing

I know, if people read my rules That easy. I have some special rules, like explaination for group names and what they mean. So it is quiet important that people know, how to trade with me I am always reading rules of other people. And expecting same thing from others. Since I hate codewords, I thought it is a good idea

Honestly, it bothers me when people don't lock their groups then get all angry when someone offers on their pets >.<

I would prefer not to unlock them but it's sometimes a good thing because if you mention it in your rules it will show if they read them or not. :3

I worked hard for the pets I have now. I don't see why I shouldn't place my pride and joy in the ungrouped pets. It isn't my fault you don't have the same pets as I do.
And I also use that group for advertising purposes, e.g. My Blue Sorbet Auction.

That group is open for a reason. I would appreciate it if you didn't tell me what and what not to do.

You realise pet names don't show up in the trade windows, right? So people can't actually see which pets are the ones you've given special names for.

exactly why do people have to leave there groups open then complain about the trade id really prefer if you opened the groups that were for trade so i could offer i mean if no one used the lock groups option whats the point of the lock option? why should i look through your great pets i already feel bad enough not having that pet now you make it worse thanks.

They don't for me? Not when I'm searching through groups.
I had to close out the trade window to click onto someone's pet groups because they were COPPA and had their trade rules as pet names in a group, but I couldn't read them from the trade window.
