Turns out she had kidney and liver failure, was severely dehydrated, and almost all of her muscles had completely dissolved.
We didn't know before because, unfortunately, cats are good at hiding their weaknesses. But it would have ended the same anyway. She had to be put out of her suffering.
I went to say goodbye to her for the last time a while ago, and it was heartbreaking. She seemed like she just wanted to come back home, but we couldn't let her suffer...
My dad just got back from the vet's, so she's officially gone now. I miss her so much already.
This is for her.
