The Caterpillar pups are more beautiful than the dragon and burnt dogs in my opinion. :>

Maybe this is an optical illusion, but the butterpups look....pudgier or thicker than other pups.

Isn't it just the rounder tail that is different? Plus the wings and eyes of course.

I agree I don't think they're any pudgier, its simply the eyes and tail that have changed.
