Continue? The couple is crap seeing as I wrote the story first and I'm experimenting with new points of view but you know... I have more planned out so if anyone's interested I'll definitely continue it.
"Ouch!" I look blinking rapidly. A tall figure is standing infront of me, sillohueted by the sun. "Yikes. I'm sorry." He crouches down, gently setting his surfboard on the ground. His height has been diminished greatly now that he's crouching infront of me and through bleary eyes I take in his appearance. Unlike the rest of the surfers here in South Florida he has pale ivory skin, deep blue eyes, and wavy almost black chocolate brown hair. It's the eyes that get me. They're so distracting and it takes me a little longer to snap back my retort. "You should be! You kicked sand in my face and all over my term paper, which is due when I get back from break, thank you very much." I harrumph, blowing a stray hair out of my face. He chuckles. "You'd think a pretty girl like you would do that later and have some fun on the beach. C'mon lets go for a swim. " He looks at me expectantly. His face is very close to mine and from here I can see he has a light spattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks. I roll my eyes at his suggestion going for my defense statement. "I don't swim. I only come down here because it kills my writers block." He totally buys it, eyebrows raised mouth hanging open. No one ever seems to notice I'm wearing a still damp bikini a clear indication that I do infact swim. I hold back a snicker watching his mouth open and close like a bizzare fish. He shuts his mouth with a loud clomp then says. "You can't swim? Wha- Bu- Nope. I don't even care. I'm teaching you." He grabs my hand pulling me up and almost makes me step on my still wet term paper. "Hey watch it! That's wet!" Damn. I think He thinks I can't swim?! This is ridiculous! I can't just leave my term paper! It'll get blown away or something. I come out of my reverie with a jolt. The guy is still blathering on, dragging me along behind him. "Hey. Hey!" I snap my fingers loudly, catching his attention. "At least let me roll up my term paper so I can put it away." He nods his head reluctantly letting go of my hand. I walk back to spot picking up my paper and the fountain pen laying next to it. Rolling up the paper and capping the pen I shove them in my bag mentally slapping myself. At Least?! AT. LEAST!? Your kidding me right?! That was your chance to escape! I sigh again shaking my head. At least I'll be able to have some fun with this. He's in for a bit of a surprise. I turn and slowly walk back to him, making a point to take my time. "So why help out some girl you don't even know?" I ask curiously as we walk down towards the water. He chuckles looking up at the sky then turning towards me. "Because life is short and you are hot." He doesn't even need to use the accent I get the reference immediately. "Aaah! Your my whovian brother." I laugh as he looks at me again mouth agape. "You could not be more perfect, well, once I teach you to swim." I smile inwardly. We reach the water and it washes against our feet, gently urging us to enter the blue waters.
