But yeah, I think the older deer are supposed to have bigger antlers. Or maybe the males.
(Both male and female reindeer have antlers, although males' are bigger. Also, real reindeer don't have the typical "deer" noses, so a "red-nosed reindeer" would be one with a red muzzle. Santa uses deer, not reindeer.)

These pets are based off deer, though, yes, not reindeer.

I think that if they were reindeer/caribou they would look a lot more muscular and less delicate than the deer. ^^
Maybe the smaller antlers mean that they're a younger buck? Their antlers would be newer than the older bucks with the bigger antlers. c:

But anyway, there are small hints to which santa's reindeer are which. I think I figured out Comet, Cupid, Blitzen, and Prancer (and Rudolf, obviously lol) But I'm having trouble with Donner (which should have some connection with thunder maybe? Since Blitzen is lightning), and the rest.

We're assuming that these are just regular deer though since there are females without antlers and these deer are a lot less muscular than reindeer would be. c:

But in the story, they are reindeer. I think that the muscular ones are Santa's reindeer and the natural colored are normal deer but the could all be reindeer... Very difficult, much confusion /dogemode
