I just realized. On this dog, http://static.chickensmoothie.com/archi ... &bg=aac4da the back legs are green-tipped. Now look at the adult. http://static.chickensmoothie.com/archi ... &bg=aac4da BLUE! Also, on the toddler version, one paw (front) is darker than the other

And if you guys will notice, it has too many tentacles to be either a squid or octopus, so I simply call it
CEPHALODOG

As for the hints I gave you...

It's all about the eyes, baby.

It's actually all about the pupil, as you can see it has a horizontal pupil, just like a lot of cephalopods.

Look at the past to see the future.

This was in reference to my 2011 dog and pup!
More so, it had to do with their growths :]
As you can see, the pup had rather boring markings, then BAM it grew and they became more detailed.



I'm sorry if you hoarded them because of its simple design, but at leadt you now have more trading fodder if you want to switch hoards. It's also a good reminder to never hoard anything until you know what it fully looks like, especially if its a staff doggy! I'm also sorry if it creeps a few of you out, that was my intention, haha. As for the pout and angry look, this doggy was originally going to be a tentacled tsundere schoolgirl! ;O But I ditched those edits in favour of a simple, clean cephalodog! You might think it has a lot of edits, but it only has neccessary ones.

And no, it wasn't inspired by anything mythological, I just love tentacles!

Is it that small, gray line that extends from the back of the eye upwards towards the eyebrow? ouo
Or is that small bit of the top eyelid that you cut out (just in front of the eye)?
