It's a [bobcat.] A type of lynx that is not nearly popular enough. :T

If it's a lynx, why is the tail so long? Please pardon my idiocy.

Because when they where made, the cat lineart was still pretty new. So Selcouth didn't want to make any major lineart edits to prevent false hopes.
(Although I still don't see what would have been wrong with a bobtailed cat lineart, just like we have countless of alternate dog linearts. You know, long tails, bobtails, curly tails, floppy ears, pointy ears, those other ears etc etc. But we only have one regular cat lineart.)

I thought that pet was this month? That lineart isn't too new... is it?

Not anymore no, but Selcouth made the litter a long time ago when the lineart was still fairly new =3

Why he didn't change it before they were released I don't know, though X3

If you all want to discuss little details you have found in the design of the pet or some little edit of the lines, feel free to continue to post.

If you wish to discuss if it's a bobcat or a lynx or why the tail is long while a bobcat has a short tail - take it to the discussion thread. The artist has said many times the PPS was designed after a bobcat so continuing to keep bringing up the same argument over to this thread is pointless.

There are some blue spots on it's back.
at the small red stripe it's there at the end ^^

The sides of these cat's eyes are yellow.


The bunch of spots on the ear facing us look like a leaf, and he doesn't have hearts like his littermates.


Some of the markings on this little feller are snowflakes (or stars).


Some of these cats have darker areas above their eyes for eyelashes to make them look like girls:

The puppy has darker shading than the grownup:


The dots on his ear change colour from pup to adult:
