To save time switching between the eye dropper and whatever else you're using, right click on the color you want on the picture ;)
will not be on quite so much; I will still answer trades and messages
this site has been a great source of stress for me

Be careful when doing this, however; sometimes you might accidentally choose a color that is slightly different than the original shade, and it might look strange. I've done that a few times. x3

Wow this is a lifesaver! I've been wondering about how pretty much all of the Oekaki stuff works for a while now but was afraid to ask and didn't know where to even if I got up the courage.
Is there a way to give your pictures a transparent background with the Oekaki?

And thanks so much for starting this thread. I will definitely be taking a closer look at all of this and playing around with the Oekaki more later on when I have some free time.

^-^

Haha, same here! I was afraid I was gonna put it in the wrong forum or what, and when I saw Vampy post I was really scared xD But she was just giving a tip. :P
Sadly, I don't think you can make a transparent BG on Oekaki. :c I wish you could, since I don't know where else I could.

And yup, I'm glad someone found use in it! ^^ I look forward to seeing some Oekaki from you.

Awww that's what I was afraid the answer would be. :(
So, if you can't make the BG's transparent with the Oekeki software, is there any other way to do it?

I'm not able to buy a tablet so I have to make do with a mouse. Got any tips?

The girl you just called fat...she's overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly... she spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped... he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars... he fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying... his mother is dying. Put this as your status if your against bullying.

For a mouse, I find smoothing the lines helps a lot. xD
And if you want a transparent bg, make it transparent on the actual picture. Then get the code for it when viewing it like in a post- I have to right click on it and then go to properties- and change .auto to .png at the end.

I'm pretty sure (having used paint.net for a bit) that you can leave the background transparent by first deselecting the background, so that everything is replaced by checkers [[grey and white iirc]] and then drawing/colouring over it c:
Also, you might want to put on a few layers before you deselect the background. Might help Cx
For every effect there is a root cause. Find and address the root cause
rather than try to fix the effect, as there is no end to the latter
