Try having someone giving away Free pets, sending a trade for one from the free group, then getting it cancelled with a 'read the rules' ... The person had no trade rules.

^lol. I kind of hate it when people cancel a reasonable month swap because i did not put a codeword.
I don't think there is a need to read the rules if someone posted that they want a certainly growth and they have a certain growth to trade. As long as you don't go into other areas and stick to what they posted on the monthly swap i think you are fine.

I don't think there is a need to read the rules if someone posted that they want a certainly growth and they have a certain growth to trade. As long as you don't go into other areas and stick to what they posted on the monthly swap i think you are fine.

I disagree. Lots of people have rules about trading newborns. :S

i am talking about people that post on the monthly swap thread. for example. "I want the new cat growth because i did not get it. will trade yesterday's dog growth for it." Than someone reading it sends them a trade for the dog in exchange for giving them the cat. Only to have their trade canceled because they did not put a codeword.

I'm no expert either. But it's to do with dates. One of those dogs is from 2009 which makes it rarer than something from 2011. Kinda make sense?

What annoys me is someone who sets up an adoption center or says they are giving away free pets and than logs off a few minutest afterwards.

Happens to me a lot, especially the "I'm leaving" threads. I figure I must have found the thread too late and they've already left. Or I find my trade request cancelled. I seldom have luck in the "free" trade board, but overall I can't complain. I've had pets given to me when I least expect it. I like that much better.

Older pets are valued over newer pets, and the two on top were from the store, which makes them significantly less valuable. P:

It's like Stormflower-x said. Look at the dates. One of the offered pets is still available in the store while the two pets they offered on are older. BOTH of them.
Also, the winged advent is from 2008, which is just worth more than those store pets together. (Very Rare doesn't equal Very Rare. You won't get a sunback for a rose dog either.)

I mean seriously people? You can read far enough to put picklebread but not to understand my items are a 'no-touchy' thing?
