I received this yesterday. I cancelled because I don't trade items; was I right to cancel though? I feel like the costume is worth more than that.

Eh I would have done the trade. Just because I have access to CS$ any time I want it. But it's up to your personal preference.
If you don't trade items you can always use the lock feature in your Trade Settings tab.

I would have cancelled, or at least added more pets to their side

Silence is never the answer. If one claims to be grown up, then they need to face the thing they are running away from.

lol the joys of offsite trading. So difficult when the people you're trading with either know nothing or hope you know nothing so they can cheat you. :(

I got this trade today and I replied saying I wasn't interested in trading that pet. Not so bad, but then they sent another trade with a pet from the same litter. I replied in almost the same way. Then they sent the first trade again. I then tried to politely ask then to stop sending suggestions for that pet. The first two times they didn't even send a message. On the third time, their message was "trade?" *sigh* I thought I made myself clear the first time.
Signature is a work in progress...Image
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
King Arthur: Not at all. They could be carried.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: What? A swallow carrying a coconut?
King Arthur: It could grip it by the husk!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

Moderators: dweev is my mom. We share the same computers and may trade from time to time.

That's when it's time to send them to the Foe's List I'm afraid. You're obviously dealing with someone who doesn't get it. :(
