This month was great. This girl has to be my favorite of Blu's litter. <3 Honestly when they were pups I didn't think I'd like them but I must say I was wrong. The litter turned out beautiful and the tail to these guys are just amazing. =3

Not really, in feb. I was desgining a charater, with a tail, made of galaxy/space/stars (it was a scribble, of course.)

You do know that usually, especially in Blu's case it seems, that the dogs are drawn 2-3 months before there are released as adoptables. So it is quite probable that these were created a while before yours was even a thought...

Honestly, I don't see a strong resemblance between your character and this dog. They seem to be on two different ends of the spectrum; Blu's dog's tail is more solid and physical with a touch of stellar highlights. Its more blended and a has smooth transition with the yellow streaks to subtly draw the eye.You're design is more like 'galactic dust' trailing behind a dog , and the tails aren't even remotely similar in my eyes. It isn't even the same type. =/ You could argue that they have similar themes, but to me that would still be quite a stretch since they are so completely different.

I don't think you were ripped off or it was a coincidence. I think you're kind of connecting yourself to the design by claiming to have made a similar one without having any solid grounds to stand on.

Thank you. I have to agree. Your dog's tail is more of a tail made of airy, pointy wisps. I can't see ANY resemblence to any design in Blu's litter. I was saying that a tail couldn't be done like Blu did it. It kind of melts into the end where there are the stars hanging on to it. Your's looks nothing like that. As Orthidel said, you can argue that the theme is the same, but honestly, I can't even see a galazy theme to your dog like there is in the Blu dog. And as also stated, Blu usually plams her multi-stage dogs and other pets months before they ever show up. :3 Honestly, I can see no resemblence.

I kind of think that maybe you are stretching the truth to make yourself feel more... I dunno... just feel better because Blu 'stole' your dog.

Yeah, the theme is there, but that's the extent of it. And themes can't be copyrighted. Take a look through Deviant Art. You'll see plenty of people doing the same theme in their own distinct way. That's what's happened here.

My big question is, how did you draw that dog in February when you didn't join until April? The dates don't match. I didn't know you could do Oekaki as a guest.
