It's really interesting looking through this thread, especially the slumber party pets. I used to have SO MANY of them back in the day and used them as trade fodder - when they weren't worth much at all. I do wish trading so many of them off, sometimes! I definitely traded off my white creep but at one point had three black creeps knocking about... oops.

I don't have trade data for those older pets - but I can share my trades for the golden gacha dog! I sent these trades a while after the litter came out. I found out about it and NEEDED one, so I'm not sure if this was after the value had settled or not.

Here's the first trade, I paid with an 09 VR rat

Here's the second - I can't remember when for the life of me that BW is from.

I definitely overpaid, but I was more than happy too because I NEEDED this dog lol

I also find it interesting seeing the PPS coocoon BW; I didn't even remember that pet until I was sorting mine out recently and found it tucked away in my folders. I had no clue it had such high demand!

Oh nearly forgot, I wanted to share some more evidence for 2015 Small Goat. With c-ta's permission, this is something he posted in the CS Discord Server:

When I got in touch to ask if I could share this, he also mentioned chatting with someone who had recently traded for one and had a hoard of them. That user told him that they overpaid for nearly all of the goats they owned.

I've also seen another user offer to trade an old rare for the goat in the CSDS.

Has anyone else noticed that it's particularly tough to trade for this dragon, or have I just been unlucky with it? 2015 Christmas rare. Saw it priced at C$80 and C$100 in two C$ stores but I don't know if that's just a few opportunists upcharging or a sign of community values.

2016 fairy lion cub for tokens, I’m so happy I finally have this cutie in my collection!! this would be worth about 3 event rares. I traded a very experienced player, so maybe the inflation is not as widespread as we imagine?

This is an interesting addition!! I'm glad they can still trade for a more 'normal' price ;v;

A lot of pet inflation is community based or certain traders that are more outspoken I suppose (since if you don't talk about the trade nobody really knows)
