First one, they are overpaying.

Second one, I'd consider you over paying, personally. Only because I'd value the dog more than the cat, and the dog is a year older. But I beleive most would consider it a fair trade. It's about personal preference.

Could someone explain how this trade could be made fair, or if it would already be fair?
