is the demand better for the liontail or the seals? what would be best for trading

Both the liontails and seals have decent demand and trade similarly from my experience. They're both store pets so they're nicely sought after! It honestly is more up to your preference on which you'd rather have! (: However, I've also found many users as of recently prefer to trade down rather than up, so that could possibly affect your trading, but that entirely depends on your pet goals. Other than that though, they're both good for trading, as they both have good demand. (:

Agreeing with Animall on this one. (Also, your post started with "Both sell for the same amount of C$." Insuniating the subject you are talking about and how you are determining worth is through C$ trades.)

Even in your post you state the set is going for 0.5 non, which I'm guessing you got from here. Even in that trade tho, they say "5.5 MAs" bc all the other store deer besides the one on this subject are worth 1 MA. The deer being discussed is and has gone from 1.5 MA. There is additionally evidence supporting this in that link. (Also, this happened within the last month or so, not last christmas)

Additionally, the kitsune store pets are being shown to trade for 2 MAs, according to the same evidence of actual successful trades. (here).

In C$ terms, C$ is often used as overpay for pets (like Animall said) so it's inaccurate to solely rely on C$ value for pets.

Technically, you could value your pet at whatever you want and solely your experience with pets. However, that doesnt mean people will pay it. There is evidence to show what pets are actually being traded for across multiple accounts, which is what is cited above.

Seconding animall as well. The trade simply was not fair to the kitsune, no matter how you look at it, by date, base value, and demand.

Unfortunately C$ is a whole different market. As much as I wish it wasn't.
Storepets seem to be their own market within themselves.

Regardless, I have seen the Kitsunes going for 800-1000CS fairly recently. If it was based on C$ values, technically
it would be unfair by 2-3MA. Therefore, for more "accurate" values in worth, it makes more sense to base general
worth on pet values. People can value their pets however they want, but keeping this thread free of "well I value
1 MA as 2 MAs", is important because it defeats the purpose of a fair trade thread. (I know this wasn't necessarily
said but it correlates to the "why's").

But I agree that that trade was unfair, but not appallingly unfair. If they were to add 2-3 09's it would've been
absolutely perfect. But it really depends on the traders at the end of the day. c:
