I haven't been able to trade away any of my high value items so I'm tempted to take this, but the token is worth 1 non... I'm still tempted. Any opinions before I make an impulsive decision?

trading trends indicate the tailor token consistently goes for 1 non (trades + more trades)
that said, though I traded 1 non for the token, I struggled to trade mine off recently - I would say demand for it is rather low*.

500c$ is worth ~0.25 nons, so you would be undertrading the token by 0.75 nons worth (with 1 non being ~2kc$ - sources for these values).

*that said, take note of Asougi's comment on the tailor token here, being that it is relatively hard to come by.

ultimately I'd say it's up to you, but you would be considerably undertrading it for its initial worth. personally I would hold onto it or try to negotiate something a bit more fair to you.
