Congrats, and welcome to the party!!
Love love love your tall neck hoard and fennecs o-o.

Checkers are *fun* both actually and stressfully
The best advice I've seen is to
a) trade for ALOT of them across different dates. So don't just go for ones adopted on the 1st if they are a monthly pet.
b) is to do swaps with other people. This requires you to either keep track of the pet "ID" or dates. Then send trades asking people to swap with you : )
You can even ask if other people who hoard the pet (not in checker) would allow you to look through their sets and swap with you (since they would have a large selection)
c) personally I look to try and trade for one of each outcome from one person whenever possible!

I did this sort of "placement" for my new year's dogs' collection.
But I'm actually attempting my first proper checker now with the Reindeer lions from 2018.
(it's a bit of a =-=)

I'm sure more experienced checker-ers can give you even more advice but this is my two sense since I was here <3

ah thank you for the tips! Doing a checker still feels a bit intimidating, but now it seems a bit more manageable with all that in mind ^^

It's hard to find chickens that like, match mine? I tried to go for colors, although the attitude on the backwards one is just totally Bertha. Yonce was a Silky/dorking mix, so uh....Kinda? Her spotting was mostly in her tailfeathers though and her main body was mostly that golden brown. Nugget and snow are perfect though.

@maxyjax - So many noodlesss! You'll definitely have your hands full with all the snakes coming out lately! Also, congrats on the teddy lions! I am passively hoarding those myself, they're just so squishy and huggable!
@Birdy - Woah, 300 already is super impressive! I really love that litter, too! I can only imagine what your trade history looks like this past week :lol:



As for myself, I haven't been prioritizing my hoards as much as I'd like to right now because my main goal and almost undivided attention is going to my collection. But these little guys broke my rule, they're just too cute! I have an enormous weakness for small linearts and pets, and these were hoard at first sight<3 Already got a good collection going, I cant wait until I get enough to fill my entire page xD

Hey, same hat!! I decided to stop at 100, but here's my hoard!

I finally managed to finish my majesdane hoard for this litter!



It seemed like it would be really hard to get to 100 at first, but the last 50 or so came pretty easily, actually! That's my 4th 100 hoard to be completed and I'm really excited about it. I'm a lot pickier about what pets I hoard 100 of (versus a single-page hoard), so I haven't gotten a chance to celebrate that milestone too much.

I have kind of considered merging the above hoard with some of my single-page hoards to create a single theme. I think these pets and their litter mates would all look good together and still fit the "majesdane" theme, which is just a reference to my favorite Marvel character.



But I can't quite decide! Does anyone have any advice?

On the subject of single-page hoards, I just need 2 more of this pet before my current one is complete!

This has always been my favourite hoard of mine (all dogs from this litter). They're just so simple and timeless! Hard to find though, I only have 35 in my collection. :(

Today I'm going to do a grueling task and work on dressing all of them up for Christmas.. wish me luck!
