Past Special Event?

So I was recently taking a stroll through my past tradesc when I came across this trade I made to the poind - trades/viewtrade.php?id=39091220&userid=667357&signature=iJ0Yye0C23RtWepvpbrN0Q

Yes, you are seeing that right. I donated 36 pets to the pound. An entire set of staff pets none the less.

I am racking my brain as to why I would have done that. The only thing I’ve managed to come up with was that maybe there was a promotion or something? It was in 2014 so I’m not exactly 100% sure, but I can’t imagine I would have tossed out 36 pets for absolutely no reason. Can someone maybe put my soul-searching to rest and give me confirmation of an event?

There's never been any special events related to the pound or donating pets, as far as I know. Maybe you just had that many extras and decided to donate them? I know I've done some weird things here before that I can't remember doing.

It's starting to seem like maybe I was just very enthusiastic about the pound.

I was so hoping for an explanation that wasn't "I gleefully threw away an entire set of staff pets from way back when" but it is starting to look like I did. Well, at least someone else got them

Right so upon further inspection, that was not my only trade of a larger number of pets to the pound. Apparently I just liked trading pets to the pound.
