What do you guys think of this trade? Since the change in the rares guide, I've not quite been able to price out these higher OMG so rares (or find the new guide people are following).

hello! i have two trades i'd like some help on. trade 1; '16 store pet for '09 lion. trade 2; july pps. thank you!!

For trade 1, it appears that the other end is overpaying. While lions tend to have good demand, so too does the raptor store pet. ‘16 stores are worth an early ‘09 rare without demand involved, so by that account they are already overpaying. The raptor in particular has volatile demand, while I have traded some away and traded for them for fair swaps, other times I have been offered overpay due to the design’s popularity. It depends on the trader, but I personally see the ‘16 store as overpay, based on both dates and demand.

Purple Alien Dog --> 1 MA - x
April Fool's UR Butterdog --> 1 MA - x
2013 rare --> 3 month rule
Lava Kirin/Koi Store Dog, Orange Kirin/Koi Dog --> 0.5 MA each to equal 1 MA - x
Cherry Blossom/Sakura Dog --> ~1 MA - x x
Blue Snowflake Scarf Dog (Low October) --> ~0.5 MA - x
2021 uncommon --> 3 month rule
Floppy Green Pastel --> 3 month rule or 2 09 rares + 1 '10 rare, grabbed that value from here since there is practically no data on it
Dog Santa Hat --> 1 LA which is about 0.5-0.75 MA - x x
Checked other guides as well to find more on the Dog Santa Hat, but couldn't find a lot to backup the 1 LA value... so I will keep it there loosely. If someone has a better idea on this, please post!

PPS Dragoncat: ~0.25+ nons or ~3-4+ MAs - x

Considering 0.25 nons is 3-4 MA, it seems like it is fair purely based on trade data alone (cannot speak for any particular demand on the bulk side). As for demand, that is a different story. This would be a trade down for the Dragoncat side. I personally would not accept simply because it might be difficult to trade off the other pets in comparison to the Dragoncat.
The PPS Dragoncat has //huge// demand, so it is up to you and your trade partner if you feel this is a good trade or not.
Definitely recommend getting a second opinion as well.

Thoughts? Last time I checked a 2016 store was going for a 2009 rare but I’m not sure what that translates to on C$. Thanks!

2016 store pet valued at ~1 early '09 rare. Recently been trading for 1-2 '09 rares. - x
One successful C$ trade of a littermate of this store pet for 85 C$ --> x *would like to add this trade was from 2020, so it is a bit older*
Using the C$ guide here, an '09 rare/vr is between 35-55 C$ (ballpark estimate). I usually split this value in half, so the first half is for rares and the second for very rares. '09 rare is then between 35-45. Valuing the 2016 flying dog at 2 '09 rares based on recent data means the C$ value should fall between 35 + 35 and 45 + 45 = 70-90.
The value they offered does fall in this range, but you could potentially get a bit more based on the successful C$ trade above for 85 C$. Ultimately, it is up to you! (:

This is only my personal experience, but though the fennecs are fairly well liked I haven’t seen any evidence that they trade above the standard ‘17 store value of a mid ‘09 rare, at least not when I’ve traded with them.
