Your side = '09 rare, '10 rare, 5 '11 rares, and a re-released pet (do you know what year it's from?)

I'll use the 2:1 rule for rarity and year (2 2012 uncommons = 1 2011 uncommon or 1 2012 rare)

Their side is worth 0.000366210938 '09 rares, + the commons which I'm not going to calculate cause they won't make a big difference

Your side is worth 2.75 '09 rares + the re-released dog

I don't even know how you could make this trade fair. Their side doesn't add up to even one of the pets they want in return. Either this player is new and ignorant or they're trying to scam you.

The pet does have some demand because it's a new years dog, which people like to collect :)

I don't know how much the demand plays into it, but just based on rarity and year, they're overpaying

I'm not quite sure if this is fair or not, I was planning to use my extras for other outcomes I miss but this person wants all the snakes I have and they have the WL pets. Someone told me that snakes are in higher demand so I should hold off on this trade but told me to get a second opinion so here I am, haha, willing to help?

You need to change your link. At the bottom of the trade, above the accept/cancel buttons, there's a link that you should copy and paste.
