Successful Re-Release for True Date Swaps/Trades?

Hi!

I'm currently trying to piece together what true date versions of pets are routinely valued at. The best way I can think of to figure this out is to see successful trades where somebody has swapped a re-release for a true date, whether it be a straight swap or with something added. If you have any examples to share, I'd love to see them! Please include any details you find to be helpful, including the re-release year(s) and what (if anything) was added as an incentive.

Disclaimer: It is my personal belief that there is no true difference between true dates and re-releases. With this said, I routinely seek out true date pets for aesthetic reasons, and acknowledge that there is a generally accepted rule that true dates hold more trading value than re-releases. However, I understand there are others with different beliefs regarding the value of true dates. As such, please refrain from judgement/comments about whether you think another person's trade was fair or not- this is simply a place to compile trade examples and decide for ourselves. <3

In a way you're answering your own question. If you value true dates more, then how much more? And how much more is someone willing to give their true date for a re-release.
Obviously rare true dates and lower demand very rares are easier to get. But a list true date would ask a lot more.
I read people say they value re-releases the same as true dates, but I dont know anyone willing to trade thier true date list even for a re-release.
I would always give more for your true date for my re-release. How much depends on how valuable and old the pet is. There is no set value.

This definitely makes sense, but I suppose that's exactly why I'm hoping to reference other peoples' examples.
A trade goes both ways, and both people would have to agree to it. Even if I value my/their true date at a certain level, the other person's value has to be at least close in order for there to be a successful trade.

If a collection of trades/swaps for a TD sorbet, for example, shows that most people are willing to swap with the addition of [x], then that lets me know that people generally value it at [x] amount more than a re-release. On the other hand, if most trades vary greatly, then that lets me know that it's a lot more personal than concrete.

Plus, like you said, a TD '08 pet is likely going to be more valuable than a TD '10 pet. And a TD list is likely going to be more valuable than a general TD rare. So seeing people's examples will help to fill in the gaps of just how more valuable they might be.

Who knows? Maybe I'll find that most people don't care either way about TDs. But that's the point- to see what the general population is trending toward. I hope that makes sense/explains my goal c:

I value TD and RR the same most of the time but if i’m trading for a TD pet I will usually end up adding because it’s so hard to just swap a rr for a td without any add.

Here’s my input for ya! A lot of my rr pets are normal rares/past auctions/off site trades/gifts, but here’s a few (mostly warriors) swaps I found!

- Personally don’t see much value in dates compared to rarities, original or not. Most folks want the aesthetic of older/tds but it’s the opposite for me (I greatly prefer Dec 18th pets). Due to that, I’m very lax about swapping my tds for their rr versions!

I do quite a few dateswaps since my trade groups are mostly TD, I'm pretty cruisey with what is offered on top though.
