I believe both of these pets go by the three month rule, which would mean that their offer is slightly unfair to you. However they should get about the same amount of worth anyway, so it's up to whichever pet you prefer.

both pumpkin bat and creamsicle bun are worth the same (3 '09 rares) so it's a fair swap

The pets on your side don't add up to the worth of a 2010 rare, they're overpaying a decent amount.

It depends on the 2009 VR, but most would be about 2 09 rares.
