(Okay, well, it was introduced very soon after I joined. But still.)
And I agree that tirades against newbies may be annoying when you've read seven kabillion of them, but you'd think even newbies would have the sense not to ask for a player's treasured "NFT" pet for free (or for truckloads of newborns and such). Especially if the older user's pet was labeled "Never up for trade EVER" or something.
Yeah, that actually happens. A lot. As you can see on this very topic.
And while some newbies do respond nicely to offers of help, others just... don't.
