To be honest, I'm a bit fed up with all of the newbie bashing. Tell me. Weree you a perfect trader the moment you joined? No.
They are new to the system, give them a break.
You hate newbies? Tough. You can't avoid them. Instead of bashing them, why don't you try and help them?

(Okay, well, it was introduced very soon after I joined. But still.)

And I agree that tirades against newbies may be annoying when you've read seven kabillion of them, but you'd think even newbies would have the sense not to ask for a player's treasured "NFT" pet for free (or for truckloads of newborns and such). Especially if the older user's pet was labeled "Never up for trade EVER" or something.
Yeah, that actually happens. A lot. As you can see on this very topic.

And while some newbies do respond nicely to offers of help, others just... don't.

So if decent users couldn't complain about those kinds of people (newbie or otherwise), we would asplode.

It's their own faults. Lock your groups. Solves every problem. You shouldn't need to name a group "NFT EVER" or whatever. There is a setting that locks the groups. Easy fix. A lot of newbies just don't understand how CS works. -shrugs- No one understands something perfectly when they start out. Give them a break.

I have only one rule like that and people still break it.
When I make it "normal" there's no difference so I keep it as it is.

Thing I can find reasonable-
When a member sends a trade with a group with NFT written-most people dont know what NFT means neither did i until a few months after I asked someone what is means.
When a person dosent accept or cancel the trade even when they are online-They probably dont know its fair and may be checking whether it is or not and something they may forget about it *points to self*.
When a 08 member send a bad trade-They might have been absent for a really long time i've seen someone who had joined in 08 and only had 3 posts and only 2 were in 08

Things i dont find resonable-
When a user sent a trade for a group that specifically says "not for trade ever'' or ''reserved for____ pet''.
When a person dosent accept or cancel a trade even when you send them a message and come online everyday.
When a 09 member send a horrible trade and have been on regularly.

Personally, I do lock my NFT groups. 90% of bad trades stop right there. x3 I dunno about everyone else, though, but I agree that locking your groups is the best solution.

On the other hand, are you saying that newbies don't understand the words "not for trade"? 'Cause most do, but some actually don't, believe it or not. -pokes my "bait" pets-

My point is... there are some great newbies who make honest mistakes, and some newbies who are just plain lazy/rude/etc. And there are different ways to treat each type of newbie. So let's all give it a rest and move on, 'k? :3
