These are technically all three month rule. However, Malk pets and the old line art PPS ponies do tend to have inflated demand. What you choose to place their demand at is truly up to you. If you get an offer for any of these pets, I recommend double checking with the "Is this a fair trade?" thread to get opinions on demand worth.

heres what i could find for for the 2009 aussie- "This outcome would be worth the three-month rule - the Australian Shepherd litter does seem to have heightened demand as a product of its design (realistic colorations often face increased value on the part of demand), but there's no specific trade data to suggest the pet consistently fetches a heightened amount."

Hi! I found this in the thread, but someone just told me in a trade that I won't be able to trade it for anything less than 2-3 '09 rares overpay. I've always been told the three-month rules, which seems fair even with taking demand into consideration. Is what they said true? Do I have to overpay a significant amount for the blue aussie? Did something change that I missed?

The base value is, indeed, three month rule. However, it is a base value to start from. For example, there could be a rat with a base value of 1 MA. Due to poor species demand, the rat could trade more frequently for a lower value of 0.5 MA. It is the opposite with the blue aussie. It tends to have increased demand, so people often trade it for a bit more than its base value. You could definitely find someone that is willing to sell it for base value, but more commonly they are sold a bit higher than starting value. Since there is no set demand price, demand is free to fluctuate from user to user. One user may trade it for the base value, while another might trade it for a price going up to 0.5 MA. It truly depends since there is no trade data to regulate what it commonly goes for with increased demand.

{just to clarify, there is little to no evidence that a TD Sunback trades for more than a RR, certainly not consistently. It commonly goes for around 3.5 nons [3 - 4 nons is the average range] regardless of release date, as shown by almost every trade in the VR & OMGSR successful trades thread. Nine times out of ten rereleases and truedates trade for the same value; it's up to you and your trade partner if you want to pay more, or less, based on date.}

though normally i’d agree, but specifically in the case of july 08 pets (not warriors, but basically anything else from then) in particular do ”consistently” in a way go for a lot more, there’s just little data because there’s so few of them and they aren’t traded around too much anymore. (i’m still looking through all the posts from that stt link, but i dont see any of the trades involving a true date sunback either). We gotta keep in mind all the factors like how small the site was meant how few true date july pets could’ve been adopted, how a lot were adopted off account and stayed off acc (pets weren’t added to accounts till sept 08, and this was manual i think, though idk how much that specific aspect affects), and how many are stuck on inactive accounts now that it’s 14 years later. Out of the 200ish sunbacks adopted in 2008 total (both td and 08 rerelease, # taken from the pet count project a few years back), few are still active today and available for how many more users cs has now especially, and anyone that owns a true date 08 july pet is guaranteed to be aware of this fact

This rattie is worth the three month rule. Rats tend to have poor demand since they are an unpopular species, but if you find the right trade partner, you can get the base value. It might just take some time to get a good offer on it.

Zodiacs typically get 2-3 ‘09 rares. A TD like yours usually gets the higher end of 3 ‘09 rares, which is a low 0.5 MA (3-4 ‘09 rares = 0.5 MA).
