Oh nelly, here we go: I formally recognize the limitation of my knowledge of just how fast CS was growing in 2008 and the rarity gap that could possibly be caused by 1 month therein XD
Trade 1: So this gets weird fast, and it'll be long because I do research like nobody's business: bear with me. The red toxic and the Red Rose dog are only 1 month apart in release, but that release was 2008 and CS seems to have been growing really fast back then because this was- I stress
was- calculated to literal hundreds of 09 rares in value gap on the
Discontinued Rares list. With that list just thrown into oblivion I will now attempt to ballpark the value difference based on my 0 experience being a member that early in the game XD. Based on the
Rarity Changes archive the red rose turned VR in May 2011. Now, of the Toxics are listed in the archive: that could mean they were VR before Dec 2009 (where this archive starts) or that it's not in yet. I'm going to assume that the toxic hit VR sometime in 09 before December. This is a LARGE gap in rarity difference, over a year and a half: suggesting the red toxic is at LEAST twice as rare as the Red Rose and possibly 3-4 times rarer depending on just when it turned over.

Now we have to address the rest of the pets: Again, Red rose went VR in May 2011. Now that could- and I stress
could put it at the value of an early 2011 store pet (the only VRs I remember being released in 2011) just by rarity.
Which is VERY strange to put into words after the literal dozens of 09 rares it was valued at on the List while the store pets were only JUST being added to the bottom of the Advent list. Moving on: I decided to calculate this by converting as much as I was able to 09 rarity, and setting the Red Rose value to the same a 2011 Store pet (Roughly 3-4 09 rares). I see
about 25 09 rares of value which is 6-8ish Red Roses. Using my HIGHEST estimate that the Red Toxic is worth 4 Roses- this would be just over double what the Red Toxic is worth (2.25 for precision) using the lower value of 3 Roses = 1 Red Toxic it's 3 times what the Red Toxic is worth.
Now, finally, If we were talking about, recent commons for a comparative example this level of overpay probably isn't excessive and I do swaps for over and under at 2-3 all the time. If you
really like the Toxic and/or don't super like the Red Rose, I don't consider it all that bad, but that sort of thing is up to you and your partner.
TLDR: Rarity values from 08 are insane, and it's mild-moderate overpay for the Toxic.
Trade 2: I don't think anyone has ever quantified the relationship between a VR and OMG so rare, and I personally consider it impossible since VR has such a broad range of actual rarity and the update that bumped the green ice rat
to OMGSR came after actual years of no significant rarity updates. I just know it's overpay. Using the same links in trade 1 as reference, the lime ice rat turned VR before December 09, giving it at least the same 2-4 times more valuable, and given that it's bumped even higher up I'd
guess it at least 6 times more rare than the Red Rose. This is a very very
very loose guess and I think getting a more educated guess would be difficult and involve a lot of looking at OMGSR value fluctuations and an expansion in the rarity archive to include rarity changes in Jan-Nov 09 to accurately nail it.
I know you specifically asked for value but I will add a demand blurb here: Yes, demand is low for rats. I couldn't even get 4 09 rares for my Ice Rat prior to the update and I'm 100% sure people are still undervaluing it. My input on this is: if you like rats and collect rats trade by value not demand- a LOT of people don't collect rats and a LOT don't adopt them to begin with so demand is usually just an excuse to get more/pay less. If you don't like rats at all and don't collect or keep them it's not really worth it to take the rat and try trading it off- it'd be a lot of effort and finding someone who wants it as part of their collection instead of an arbitrary 'trade up' is near impossible.
TLDR: It's a lot of overpay for the Red Rose if you want to keep the rat, but if you're just going for the 'trade up' it's not really worth the effort.
As always I suggest people consider if they're happy with the trade before accepting: It's okay to overpay if you really like a pet and it's okay to underpay if you're being as honest as possible and your trade partner is happy too. It's also okay to cancel a totally fair trade if you're just not feeling it. Again, just be honest and try to be nice! =3

This one is tricky, the grey cat is from 08, and the leopard cat is from 09 advent. From the age gap alone I would say they're underpaying, but Advents tend to be a bit more rare to start with which is why it's tricky. Using the same links as seen in Trade 1 quote 1 I wasn't able to determine when either went Very Rare, and the closest I got was a cat from the 08 litter that went rare in 2010, so nothing super helpful.
By my best guess the grey cat is worth at least 2-3 as much because it's over twice as old and the 08 releases tended to grow in rarity very quickly due to influx of new members over time.
