Also, I’m happy popping star’s kitty is named after a fruity fruit. I think that’s so fun 🥰

Alright, I believe it's been long enough, so I'll go ahead and claim my kitty. This kitty is indeed mine!


Their name's Akane. Rockruff inspired me to name them something apple-related, and Akane is a type of apple! They really like sweet foods/fruits, which is another reason why I decided to name them after a type of apple. My cat also goes by any pronouns.

As for the song title/artist name hints, As a star, Red Moon, Which Star (by Black6ix), and I'M A STAR were the important songs. The titles with 'Star' in the name and the stars I placed on the cats' foreheads were there to signal the importance of the word 'star', a portion of my username. To add on to this, two at the time ungrown kittens had names including 'Star'. This was to try to point out the significance of the ungrown kitten. 'Red' in Red Moon was a reference to my cat's main base color, and the '6' portion of Black6ix referenced the 6 legs. I wanted the song hints to be fairly tricky since I had narrowed my cat down very quickly. ^^;

The previous '0' hint was referencing the 'spots'.

Akane is SO GOOD, you already know how much I love the little cheeks and those extra legs are so well done! So excited for everyone to see 'em <3

Just jumping in here to show my appreciation for this bab!
I've no idea what they were based on (I haven't read through this discussion so no idea if it's been revealed?) But the markings look like triskeles and double spirals, which are inherently celtic, but also relate a lot to Druidry - so I really adore the design (and I've added them to my druidry pet group because of it ^^)
