all 2009 staff pets are worth an 09 rare each. demand is up to you and your trading partner.
the malk mutant has mixed results.
- demand-wise - can fetch an advent list (source)
- mutant has little demand (source)

as I said, since demand is up to you and your partner, ascertain how they value it first, and then go from there. personally, I haven't seen as high a demand for the malk as for the shima (which isn't in this trade).
