unfair to you, your '09 vr alone would be overpay for everything on their side-- the '09 vr on its own is worth 2 '09 rares, their whole side is barely worth 1.75 '09 rares.

Help? I think they're fair rarity wise but I'm wondering if it's fair demand wise.

i agree that its fair rarity wise, but demand wise the african wild dog is definitely better-- although not by much. i personally think its fine as it is, but you really want to fill the small demand gap i'm sure a couple older uncommons on their side would be plenty.

I think this trade could be considered fair.

I broke down in this post evidence for the nonballoon reaching "sorb" level of demand.

I just ran this search on the vr/omgsr success thread for the spotted tribal.

I think these trades indicate a "sorb value" level of demand for the spotted tribal:
spotted tribal + omgsr pickle + 300 C$ for UR ice cat - July 2019
spotted tribal for 800 C$ - Dec 2019
spotted tribal + white Lolita + 2013 store for UR Lion - Jan 2020
spotted tribal for blue toxic - Feb 2020

I think these trades indicate a value higher than a "sorb" in demand for the tribal:
spotted tribal for Hyena Advent + Brown Border Collie Advent + Blue Grinner + Nonballoon + Sheepdog store pet + unicorn store pet - Jan 2020
spotted tribal + wolf pps for ur aussie - Jan 2020
spotted tribal for light speckled rat, WWA, dark shima bwolf, 140 C$, + rares add - March 2020

anyone reading this please do dispute/correct the above value assumptions if you disagree with them. my reasoning from this point is basically: the trades indicating a higher-than-sorb level of demand are more recent than the ones resting right around sorb level, even though there is 1 more of the "sorb" value trades. the more recent evidence may be more helpful in determining current demand.

so the conclusion I would tentatively draw is that the spotted tribal is debatably above sorb level in demand, the nonballoon covers the "sorb" value, and the red x pps is an add to make up for that value gap.

...this is one of the craziest trades ive seen in a while. i would accept this in a heartbeat, personally, because this is MASSIVE overpay. sure, vampiric bats go for a little overpay to bat collectors, but unless im massively missing something?? im pretty sure this particular bat is just a good demand design-- its still only worth around 1-2 '09 rares AT MOST with demand value included. the cheshire cat is currently going for low/mid september lists (14+ '09 rares), EACH 2014 dragon dog is worth 2 '09 rares, the tinsel lion is is a tier 4 advent list worth 6-7 '09 rares, 80 c$ is worth another tier 4 advent, the pony is worth 2 '09 rares, everything else is just small added overpay. dang.

that is incredibly unfair to them, i really don't know why they'd feel like it's fair...
just the C$ alone is quite some overpay.

I agree with what you have to say. However it is worth mentioning that many people do not understand the value of the spotted tribal and I have been told many times that they are worth below a sorb. Personally I found that they are extremely hard to trade off for their value. I got mine for a blue toxic and still have not traded it away from an equal/greater amount.
