Thanks! Second opinion? I've been told PPS Dragon cat is worth 3 '09s (and have been offered much more xD).

^^ it is definitely worth more than 3 09 rares. Set rarity or not it is ridiculous to ignore demand. If you can get more for a pet then why wouldn’t you?

Personally, I got a zebra and add my pps dragon cat but obviously I just got an insane deal. I would say the kitsune set is a very good offer as many people have that a small autos for their dragoncat auctions. Their demand is pretty up there and you can get a nice shiny new toy for the full set.

Though you could also wait and see what else you get or trade it for a shima (which usually fetches insaNE overpay. Evenmoreso than the dragoncat)

Demand does equal worth ^^ supply and demand are the determiners of worth. You may claim it doesn’t matter but at the end of the say, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who would trade it for 1 09 rare. “It’s technically not worth that much” doesn’t fly because if the general populous pays that much then that is it’s worth.

When it comes to bartering, things fluctuate. You’re trading not shopping. And so, demand does matter. On this thread you’re meant to give educated advice and if you’re going to ignore things that are generally accepted in the tradin realm because of personal bias that isn’t educated

In my opinion that is a very good trade! The sorb can fetch a non and the little galaxy kitty is about 1.5 nons if I’m correct (don’t attack me if I’m not, the lesser seen things I’m rusty on)

And the rose wouldn’t bump it to that Half a non, so.

Not everyone values a certain pet the exact same. I was telling them that the trade was unfair to the kitsunes, WHICH IT IS, because that's what this thread is for. Whether you or someone else values the pps dragoncat more IS UP TO YOU. No one can give a set value "demand wise" because it depends on the user.

And I AGREE that the trade is good for the dragoncat side.

But a part of this thread is giving accurate advice on trading- and pet values are a huge part of that experience.

Obviously nobody can give a 100% accurate official value demand wise, it does depend on the user. But it’s also not too difficult to give a rough estimate of what lengths people NORMALLY go through to get that pet.

A Moonswirl and a nonswirl should technically be worth the same amount. But they ARENT.

A pink sorb should be worth more than a BEG, but it isnt.

Why? Because a majority of people say “yea that sounds about right”

You can try and trade a Moonswirl for a nonswirl

Or a pink sorb for a BEG

But is it going to work? No. So yes, you can be happy you were right but that isn’t helpful to anyone involved.

I agree. The pink sorbet gets about a non and the galaxy cat about 1.5 in my experience, and the rose dog isn't worth half a non. I'd take it (:
