The monthly difference between store pets isn't too big. Both of those are generally considered to be worth a mid '10 rare but could fetch more according to people's preference. You might persuade your trading partner to bridge the difference by adding a WL uncommon, but if you like their pet better I'd say the trade is fine c: You might want a second opinion.
Those are both the same link ^^' Rarity-wise they're overpaying a bit, as a 2017 store pet is generally valued at an early 2010 rare. However, those PPS store pets have excellent demand – I'd say your griffin has better tradeability than any of the pets they're offering. Up to you which you prefer c:

If you go by list values, I believe this is fair. The store deer swap fairly, I believe. The carousel horse is a Tier 2 Advent worth 4-5 '09 rares. Minus the store deer, their side is worth 5 '09 rares according to generally accepted store pet values.
It's a good quantity of store pets to trade for the carousel horse, I think. It's really up to you whether you think you could get a better offer for it, as well as whether you'd like to trade down to fill some gaps in your collection or you'd rather use it to trade up/swap.
Since I'm personally trying to save my list store pets for trade ups, I wouldn't accept this trade. But that's mainly due to my personal goals; considering the demand for the carousel horse, I'd personally have no trouble with the trade. The pets they're offering generally have good demand as well.
