but, someone I gifted a valuable pet to just tried to trade it back to me for other pets/more and on top of it when I looked to see what I had as wishlist pets for them, all I have is my WW and Jeweled and they wanted wishlits pets both that would be massively overpaying (Red Rose) + my target x
I will not cry, I will not regret being nice...
I feel so dejected, but I won't let this ruin gift giving for me.
Edit: I'm just going to stay away from the boards for a while, after questioning the trade as nicely as I could it got edited for another Rare that was gifted to them instead and was labeled NEFT and in a NEFT gift folder...
I think I am going to go cry now, I can't do a gift take back, but I'm really kicking myself for gifting a Red Rose and having it end like this.
That is absolutely horrible. Part of what you've said is the reason I get absolutely furious when someone sends me a trade stating whatever pet they're after is "their dreamie
" I actually had someone the other day begging me for a pet stating it was their dream pet. And the pets they were offering for it were in a group marked as "Dream Pets NEFT"
Some people are so shallow and superficial and nothing seems to mean anything to them. It makes me mad. I canceled telling them that "I don't think so. I see how easily they trade their "dream pets" away. I didn't want to have anything to do with them.
Don't get me wrong, there have been people I've given, or traded for far less than their worth, pets to who still have them to this day and obviously do love them very much. That makes it all worthwhile when I'm browsing through the forums and I see a pet I've given someone in a "place of honor" sort of in their collection.
We have to get through the bad people to get to the good ones. Just don't let them discourage you. *hugs*
