in my opionion it isnt fair, your giving them a 2017 very rare, and in return you want a 2010 very rare+! Thats a little overboard

please don't give false advise. the toxic dog is actually from '08, it's just a re-release from the december 18th gift box every year. this is extremely unfair to you if you follow the retired list. the green toxic still goes for around it's former worth, their side doesn't even add up to a low advent, and the toxic was a main list. they'd need to add almost the entire worth of the toxic to make it fair.

Cinnabun for Dogtag?

This is going to depend on how you and your trading partner personally value the Cinnabun vs Dogtag. I personally value the Cinnabun over the Dogtag because the Dogtag looks almost exactly like the Non-Tag, so I don't value it over the Nons. I value the Cinnabun at 1.5 Nons. Some may agree, some may disagree. "List wise", it's unfair to the Dogtag.

Like I said, it's going to depend on how you both personally value the pets involved.

If you still follow the "rare's list", this is unfair to you as their side is only worth a Low September List, and your pet is a Main List. If going by years, it's unfair to them.
Remember quantity has value of its own.

It's completely up to you and your trading partner how you both personally value the pets involved here.
