Yes the top would need to add, this trade is unfair to the bottom - rarity wise
The Dog on the bottom is from July 2009 and worth 1 Mid 2009 Rare
The top only adds up to slightly over 1 2013 Uncommon

The top would have to add another 2009 Rares worth
Demand is up to you and your trading partner and how you both value the pets

2013 Store Pet (Llama) = 2 2009 Rares
2014 Store Pet (Sitting Cat) = 1 Early 2009 Rare
