CS Pet Guide Project - Template added to 1st post

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it!

So for our discussion points:

1. CS Rarest Pet Guide seems to be a favourite but let's keep suggestions and opinions coming!

2. Separate posts on the same guide sounds like a good scope but we can always change our minds later c:

For our introduction post I am thinking we should cover these things:
> Brief summary of purpose
> Rules for when the guide's complete (what should/shouldn't be posted here)
> Contents (links to other posts on the front page)
> Resources (links to the rarity guides)

Meduz I agree that URs would be easiest to draft next. They will not be so easy to provide trading advice for though. Their rarity tags often aren't comparable due to being released in different years and under different rarity systems.

I went back and reread your store pet guide (I still like it) but I don’t think the information even needs to be listed as ‘trading advice’. Keep the information because it is relevant to the pets and could be beneficial to know when trading, but I worry how it could be construed if it’s listed as trading advice.
I still think it should be listed, but differently, if I’m making any sense.

just some rough ideas with bad formatting, lol(hopefully you understand what I mean
and can put it better xD) ;

- Don't ask about if a trade is fair or how much one of the pets are worth in c$ here, go here instead;

- Don't give false/fake information when talking in a conversation about a pet.
- This guide isn't exact or official, please don't take it as one!

What should we call this guide? - I like what it's called now, short and to the point
What should the front page layout be? - I like how it is now, but more pictures might be appreciated, I'm a visual learner and pictures make it muhh easier to understand
What sections do we need and what order should they be in? - Links to other lists, the FFT thread and possibly the Newbie adopts thread
What should the scope be? I think everything from rares up, of course not all rares can be covered but having some info on them would be nice
What improvements should we make to the store pets draft (p2)? Possibly some pictures of the listed store pets
Should it be a separate guide linked from here, or part of this guide? I think it's nice to have it all in one place
Which section should we draft next? Dunno?

I agree - I think as we are trying to get away from the rares list guide "valuable" is preferable to "rarest" (although the name as it is now is nice)

We have:
The rares lists
The rarity trade guide
CS rarity list

So I do this it's necessary to move away from the word rare/rarity.
Valuable sounds ok to me.

Just tossing in my two cents, I don't think zebras should be lumped in with the URs, since they are still being released monthly (Which I was unaware of honestly) so it would be nice to have them with their own rankins and explanation of how they are obtained, when they were first released ETC

i agree heavily with this, it would be like if we had given Fennec Foxes a special ranking because they still get released monthly or bimonthly.
Personally i think the Zebra's shouldnt be UR just "Special Released Zebra's" dont lump them in.
