I've been offered a sunjewel for my sunback *more than once*. Is the dogtag going for sunjewels?

Let me put it simply. Users differ on what they will trade for a specific pet person to person. Any answer you get will be based on opinion, which is what demand really is: opinion.
As for the Dogtag for sunback situation, I think it's important for us to talk about high up mainlist pets (I.E. Above Gap {Ag} Mainlists). It is important to note that many people don't always have the full funds to buy higher up lists. This is why some pets like the zebras, Sunjewel, and moonswirl often fetch less than their rarity worths (in terms of quantity, but that's another conversation for another day lol). Not to mention, some people just do not prefer some of these pets compared to others, which can also drop pricing. I must
EMPHASIZE here that there are people who
ARE willing to pay full prices for these pets, so please don't think that no one will pay the rarity prices for pets like the zebras or moonswirls, ect., because people
will and do pay those prices for those pets. (Though less often than people should!) With this in mind, we should begin to talk about the sunback. The sunback is one of the few AG mainlists that actually go for more than their list placement more times than not. I have seen crazy trades for sunbacks, but these trades don't happen as often as they use to, from what I see. This carries out my basic understand of the sunback for now. Let us continue:
As you stated, people have offered sunjewels on more than one occasion, but I think it's best we talk about how much some of these other AG mainlists 'normally' (normally used in terms with 'demand', which is solely based on the trades I have seen, and not by these pets' rarity worth) fetch in-terms of trading.
Sunjewel- 4-5 nons
Dogtag- Typically 2 nons
Moonswirl- 3-4 nons
UR-Bwolf- 1/1.5-2+ nons
Zebras- 1 non
Sunback- list placement value-5/6 nons
In all, this really depends on who you trade and how much you and your partner value these pets. Personally if I got a dogtag offer for my sunback, I would keep the sunback, simply because I hear many people have issues trading off their dogtag's fairly. The same situation goes for the sunjewel and the moonswirls, but I like the sunjewel. Even at 4-5 nons worth, I would still like to have a pet that has it's worth set at around a value and okay demand. For all we know, the sunback could loose it's crazy demand by tomorrow. However, you will have much easier chances of getting overpay/higher quantity for the sunback than you would per-say a sunjewel. I would keep your sunback, but please remember this is my opinion. Refer back to my little disclaimer again! No one can give you a set value on demand, as it is impossible to know how much every player values each pet at any given time!
