I must admit when I saw the stripey dog litter I thought "yuck. Bright stripes meeting at such sharp lines with dark solids." But now that they have grown and all the sharp angles are cool curvy lines, I love them the most!

I honestly love that the ponies this month are based off of nudibranches. I used to get Nat Geo Kids magazines years ago when I was younger and I remember this one article I saw in one issue about these things and I was like, “whoa those things are weirdly cool!” So seeing these ponies brings back some memories! I’m sure I saw pictures of some of these very sea slugs in that article- especially the purple one.

Looks a bit more like Picta, because it doesn't have proper stripes.

I was really intrigued about the pastel+black dogs, but they just don't hit me the right way. I LOVE the soft patterns they have and wish that they'd infiltrated into the black (even subtly).

I DO love the flower dogs, though. They're BEAUTIFUL.

i know theyre based on slugs, but this pony in particular reminds me of "starry night" by Van Gogh hehe

Really close! It's the Phyllidia varicosa (same genus!)



You can see the blue stripes get smaller a branch off near the bottom as well as they have more yellow spots
