This has been answered 3 times already. The last person said this:

unfair to their side. evne if it does have higher demand, its not worth an early 2010 rare.

I don't understand it. And 3 opinions still doesn't help when I have other people saying differently.

What's not to understand sorry?? If 3 people have all told you similar things.

With the way dates work on this site especially regarding 2008-2010 pets, a regular 2012 rare just simply isn't worth an early 2010 rare. It's maybe worth 1 2011 rare at most with demand, maybe 2 to someone super desperate. But their side is big overpay for it (the lion is worth an early 2010 rare because it is a store pet and are valued differently than normal/reg rates)

All 3 people who stated their opinions said the same thing. Rarity wise, it's overpay for the
top side. Demand is user based. So you can't go by demand for everything as everyone has
a special value or personal demand for each pet. Some people will be willing to overpay,
some won't, and some may not know the worth in general. Personally - I've never seen that
caterpillar go for anything other than what it's worth rarity wise.

these are both pretty dependent on how you value things.

cant be bothered to work out the total C$ worth of the first trade because its so subjective of how YOU and your trading partner value the commons/uncommons and items and my answer might be drastically different than other peoples on the site.

but the second is pretty hard.
Pocky can often go for minimum 50 C$. but ive personally seen it go for 2 '09 rares. So upwards of 70 C$. the dog is worth ~14 C$ and the gryphon worth ~23. averaging the Pocky out to 60 C$ (but remember it can go for more) your side is just shy of 100 C$. so i'd say the second trade is fair for their dollerydoos.
