No, they're lying. A '14 store pet is worth a mid '09 rare or 4 mid '09 uncommons, not one.

I don’t know much about trading but I’m pretty sure that a 2009 uncommon doesn’t equal a 2010 rare, likes maybe two or three would but I don’t think just one does. Also store pets gain rarity more due to not rereleasing. But get a second opinion ^_^

Is this fair? I know that rats have less demand and I generally don't like them as much either. (Could anyone also please tell me what my pet is worth?)

A '08 rare is worth a '09 rare and a '09 uncommon, so the top is worth a '09 rare plus a '10 rare. This trade is unfair to you
